My father, Captain Ömer Canca, is the first Turkish deep sea master to lead a foreign vessel. In memoriam of his life abroad at seven seas, I have a realizable dream of giving his name to one of the classical ferries of the Bosphorus in the 20th anniversary of his absence in 2023.
